The Coffeyville Police Department responded to the vicinity of 500 E. 2nd yesterday evening for a shots fired call. Upon arrival, officers learned that a handgun was fired into the air during a disturbance. Officers have identified the subjects involved in the incident, however, the subjects directly involved with the handgun fled the area before officers arrived and has not been located. Officers also learned the incident was video recorded and posted online. Criminal prosecution will be recommended for the suspects involved in the incident.
