On again. The Montgomery County Commission may have found a work-around for a county neighborhood revitalization program. But, it will not be county-wide. Commissions to stay within the legal frame-work of the program would have to exclude municipalities. Commissioner Ryan York says it would also have a different name. York would still like to have the program begin on July 1st; although, the county commission will not meet until July 2nd. Meanwhile, county department heads have started outlining their budget proposals for 2019.
In other business, commissioners agreed to the shredding of records from the County Clerk's Office, approved the pictometry agreement with the City of Independence and approved the re-appointment of Shelly Kiblinger, Kwin Bromley, Becky Dye, Jeff Gettler and Daylene Walls to the Juvenile Corrections Advisory Board.
