The Chief Executive Officer of Labette Health meets with Montgomery County Commissioners. Brian Williams wanted to express appreciation for the taxpayer support they've received and provide an update on the Independence operations.  In other business, Public Works Director Robert Bever provided updates on plans for the 2018 Chip and Seal project, the noxious weed fund, and received approval to purchase two new flex-wing mowers.

G&G Dozer of Caney was also awarded a demolition contract for a structure on West 17th Street.
