There's a new drop box for unused or expired medicine has been set up in Coffeyville. City Commissioner and Four County Mental Health Regional Opioid Project Nurse Justin Doane says the drop box will be available 24/7.

Doane says all prescription medications, patches and ointments as well as over the counter medications, vitamins and pet medications can be placed in the box. He says items not accepted include needles, inhalers, thermometers, aerosol cans and ointments, lotions or liquids.
