A new U.S. District Court Judge for Kansas gets the nod of approval from the United States Senate. Senator Jerry Moran of Kansas says our state will be served by a highly-qualified and well-respected legal mind.  John Broomes will serve as a District Judge on the U.S. District Court for Kansas. He graduated first in his class at Washburn University School of Law.

Broomes of Wichita also served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Submarine Force, where he earned the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and three Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals
