Nothing like beautifying your community all while doing the same to yourself; over in Independence they have created a fun way to clean up your city all while exercising. Bulldog pride is a walking group created in efforts to clean up the streets of trash throughout Independence, and get yourself physically active with friends and family. Lisa Wilson the director of the Chamber of Commerce in Independence says the group is just that, an excuse to get out on a Saturday morning, meet new friends and help beautify your community. The group meets every Saturday at 9 am for the hour long walk at Bulldog Station in Independence on main street. Great way to get the family out, easy way to clean up the community and is completely free. All you need is a trash bag and a great attitude to help your community.
