Man Involved In High Speed Chase Gets 7 Years In Prison

 

A man shot during a 2016 high speed chase with Cherokee County authorities will spend 7 years in prison. 39-year-old Kevin Duncan was seen driving erratically near a city park and making threats toward children. Columbus Police and Cherokee County Sheriff's deputies tried to pull him over, but he lead them in a chase into Crawford County where speeds top 100 miles per hour, while he fired a gun through his sunroof. He also pointed the gun at one of the officers.

Once he was stopped and tried to flee, he was shot by Crawford County deputies before he was taken into custody.
