Roofer Banned From Working In Kansas

Homeowners beware! Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt says a Bourbon County roofer has been banned from working in the state. Shane Bailey, of Bailey Construction, was permanently banned from operating as a roofing contractor in the state of Kansas. The action came after Bailey failed to respond to a lawsuit filed against him. Schmidt says the roofer did not register with the Kasnas Roofing Registration Act and failed to give consumers the required 3-day right to cancel services for door-to-door sales.

He also cashed checks before the required five day waiting period.
