Coffeyville City Manager Kendal Francis resigns from his job effective immediately. The move comes ahead of his contract which was set to expire on August 31st. Coffeyville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Candi Westbrook says her organization has worked over the last three years to build a better relationship with the city. Director of the City's Electric Utility, Mike Shook, has been named interim city manager by the Coffeyville City Commission.
Francis has been city manager since August of 2015.
