The 2025 Kansas Shrine Bowl took place Saturday night in Dodge City, with eight different Red Raven commits making an appearance in the game.
The West All-Stars overcame the high winds to defeat the East, 26-8 in the game. Field Kindley's Aaron Tunstall and Caney Valley's Ben Matthews highlighted the area athletes continuing their football careers at CCC.
It was another future Red Raven, however, who stole the show with one of the top plays of the night, as Maize South's Christian McDonald had a pick-six to propel the West.
McDonald was a first-team all-state selection last season, and spoke with Sports in Kansas after the game. He says he was able to read the play from the moment the ball was snapped.
Other Ravens to compete in the Shrine Bowl were Jaden Cohens, James Middlebrook, Jace Midgett, and Max Huston.
