Thunder Win First NBA Championship

For the first time since the franchise relocated to Oklahoma City, the Thunder are the last team standing as NBA champions.

OKC defeated the Indiana Pacers 103-91 in the deciding Game 7 of the NBA Finals, and cap off a season in which the organization had the league's best record, most valuable player, and most total wins.

Guard Shai-Gilgeous Alexander finished with 29 points and tied a playoff career-high with 12 assists. Jalen Williams finished with 20 points and Chet Holmgren had 18. Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton left the game in the opening quarter with an achilles injury.

Here's how the final few seconds sounded as the Thunder reached the mountain top.

Oklahoma City becomes the fourth team in league history to win 84 games in a single season, and open as the favorites to repeat in 2025-26.
