It was a day to remember for Royals rookie Jac Caglianone, who hit the first two home runs of his MLB career, as the Royals sweep the Texas Rangers.

 

Caglianone hit his first career long ball in the second inning, and followed with a second home run in the ninth inning. He says it was a feeling he's been waiting for since his debut.

 

Kansas City has responded from a six-game losing streak by winning three straight, moving back within one game of .500 and back to 1.5 games out in the Wild Card race. Caglianone says it's a resilient group to be a part of.

 

The boys in blue head to the West Coast, beginning a series with the San Diego Padres tonight. Coverage begins at 8 p.m. CT with first pitch at 8:40 on the Mighty 690, KGGF.
