The Oklahoma City Thunder can win the first championship in team history tonight, looking to close out the NBA Finals in Game 6.
OKC has won each of the past two games to take a 3-2 series lead over the Indiana Pacers, and will need to win in Indianapolis tonight to avoid a winner-take-all Game 7. Pacers star point guard Tyreese Halliburton is a game-time-decision following a calf strain in Game 5.
Despite winning consecutive games and being one win away from the title, Thunder coach Mark Daigneault says the team can have a better performance in many areas.
OKC has never been in a closeout game in the NBA Finals since relocating. Star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander says the team kept the same simple goal in mind.
Pregame of tonight's Game 6 begins at 7 p.m. CT, with tip off at 7:30. The game can be heard on our sister station, 99.1 KPGM in Bartlesville.
