Following a season that saw an eleven win improvement, and emergence into contender status in the Jayhawk Conference, ICC Men's Basketball Coach Jai Steadman will be coaching at a premier event next month.
Steadman is one of the six coaches selected to instruct at the JA48 showcase, which takes place on July 10th and 11th in Richmond, Virginia, and features 48 of the best JUCO players in the country each year.
The JA48 event serves as a major recruiting opporutnity for JUCO programs and athletes, with D1 coaches and representatives from all over the nation in attendance.
Steadman will be joined on the staff by Kevon Davis of Yavapai College, Rian Stubbs of Odessa, Joe Kuligoski of Panola, Brad Witherspoon of Dodge City, and Cameron Turner of Eastern Arizona.
ICC will also be sending a player to JA48, as Trashaun Combs-Pierce will be participating following a freshman season where he averaged 12 points and eight rebounds per game. Combs-Pierce is one of the top returning sophomores in JUCO for next season.
