The Kansas Shrine Bowl is this weekend in Dodge City, and eight different Coffeyville Community College commits will be suiting up for the all-star teams.
Coffeyville's own Aaron Tunstall will be playing running back for the East All-Stars. Tunstall was a 1st-Team All-State selection, the All-SEK Offensive Player of the Year, and ran for nearly 4000 yards with more than 40 touchdowns in his Nado career.
Ben Matthews of Caney Valley will also play for the East, as a wide receiver and tight end. Matthews was an All-State selection, and 3-time All-League selection as well.
Other Red Raven football commits playing Saturday is quarterback Max Huston of Topeka Seaman (1st-Team All-State, Shawnee County Offensive Player of the Year), defensive back Quavon Harris of Wichita NW, defensive back James Middlebrook of Derby (1st-Team All-State), defensive back Jaden Cohens of Goddard (Honorable Mention All-State), and defensive back Christian McDonald of Maize South (1st-Team All-State).
Additionally, Columbus senior Jace Midgett will be playing in the game. Midgett will also be a Red Raven, committed to play baseball for Jake Martin.
