A pair of Red Raven baseball alum are having success in the next chapter of their careers, making an impact at the Division 1 level.

 

Both Mason Holton and Carson Schrack were all-conference talents in their time with the Ravens, with Holton serving as the team's shortstop in 2023, and Schrack playing both second and third base in 2023-24.

 

Schrack originally committed to Arkansas after his time at CCC, but was informed that the Razorbacks had too many returning players for him to be able to play. He says he then changed his approach to find somewhere he could play.

 

Holton has spent the past two seasons at Western Carolina, serving as a primary third baseman, and hitting a career-high nine home runs this season. He's also started pitching for the team, spending 14 innings on the mound. He says preparing as both a hitter and pitcher can be challenging.

 

Mason will be a fifth year senior at Western Carolina next year, while Schrack intends to stay at SEMO for his senior season.
