Fort Scott Baseball Wins First State Title

For the first time in school history, Fort Scott is the last baseball team standing in 4A.

The Tigers win their first state championship in program history, after a 6-4 win over Rock Creek. Fort Scott finishes the season with a 28-3 record, playing one of the toughest schedules in the state at the 4A level.

The program completes the most successful season in school history, having been ranked in the Top 5 in 4A for a majority of the regular season, under head coach Josh Regan, and capping it off with a state title run.

Senior pitcher Colt Rogers was a hero on the mound as well, serving as a veteran stabilizer for the team and getting valuable outs all week long.
