Morning Storm Damage in Coffeyville, Rainfall Totals

Coffeyville Municipal Light and Power is providing an update on today's outages.  

 

Crews have been out since 8 this morning working out outages caused by storm damage.  Several larger outages have been restored, but crews continue to work at numerous locations across town to repair service disrupted by downed limbs and broken poles.

Cleanup is underway after a thunderstorms moved through the Coffeyville area this morning.

 

Tree damage ranging from minor to major has been observed across town.  A large tree fell over in Walter Johnson Park near the horseshoe area, and a tree was reported down across the street near Willow and 3rd.  Several power outages are being reported on the west side of town.  Power line damage caused by a tree has been reported on west 8th street near the intersection of 166.  Here's a look at rainfall totals for the area:
