Extra money courtesy of the America Rescue Act is set to be given out to county employees in Labette. Originally the money was broken up into three different amounts, but Commissioner Cole Proehl says they decided to change that.
Proehl says in order to be eligible for the payments you had to be employed during the pandemic and still be employed when the compensation is approved by the federal government, which at the moment is July 10th.
