The Independence Bulldog tennis team finished off a remarkable season with a state runner-up finish.

 

The Bulldogs were the only team in 4A to have all six boys still playing on the second day of the tournament.

 

The doubles team of Camdon Julian and Aiden Denney are state champions, with the doubles team of Tucker Gregory and Matthew McLenon placing fifth. For Julian, it is his third consecutive doubles championship, with three different partners.

 

Keith Sanders came ninth place in singles, while Carson Merrick placed 12th.
