Cattle Truck Overturns on Kansas Highway

One person is injured after a semi truck carrying cattle overturns on a Kansas highway.

The accident occurred early Thursday morning at around 3:30am on K-14 near Kingman. The Kansas highway Patrol says the semi was traveling north on K-14 when it drifted to the right. The driver then over corrected, causing the truck to overturn. The 55 year old driver was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The roadway was reopened around noon yesterday (Thursday) after all of the cattle had been recovered.
