Brady Scott Titus

Brady Scott Titus, 55, of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at The Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

 

He was born on May 9, 1968, in Des Moines, IA, and resided in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma area all of his life. Brady attended grade school in South Coffeyville and completed his education graduating from Field Kindley High School, class of 1986, where he first discovered his love for fast cars.

 

Brady married Cristal Hyde in 1988, and they had two beautiful daughters, Erin and Hali. The couple later divorced in 2006.

 

Brady's dedication to providing for his family led him to starting and fulfilling a 33-year career as a Track Foreman for Union Pacific Railroad. His dedication was not limited to his professional life, as he was also a proud member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance and Way Employees. His hobbies reflected his adventurous spirit and creative mind. After his kids, Brady’s passion was drag racing and building engines. In his spare time, Brady was a master storyteller, captivating friends and family with his unique tales.

 

Above all, Brady loved his kids and grandkids  His love and dedication to his family were the cornerstones of his life. He is survived by his daughters, Erin Adams (Jamal) and Hali Titus (Kyle Thurman); five grandchildren with two more on the way; his parents, Larry and Connie Titus; brother, Aaron Titus (Peggy); nephew, Liam Titus; niece, Teagan Titus; aunt, Cheryl Young (Robert); and cousins, Nicholas and Riley Young.

 

Brady was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and Mayme Titus.

 

Honoring Brady's wishes, cremation will take place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home. A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place at a later date.
