Larry Joe McAfee left this world unexpectedly on October 17, 2021. He was born on November 12, 1975 in Bartlesville Oklahoma.

 

Larry Joe  attended school in Great Falls ,Montana  and in Coffeyville, Kansas where he graduated  from Field Kindley High School in 1994 earning a scholarship to attend Coffeyville Community College. 

 

Larry Joe had many passions in his life and was very talented,  growing up he enjoyed playing football, basketball, racquetball, golf and swam competitively his senior year of high school.

 

He had an intense view of life and his paintings and drawings reflected this. His connection with the great outdoors, mountains and ocean gave him such peace.

 

Larry Joe had the biggest heart and truly had a passion to help those in need.

 

Left behind to celebrate his life and memory is his pride and joy, son Liam, parents Larry and Diane, sister Alesia (Paul),nieces KayDee (Chris), Emily (Riley), Sophia and nephew Riley(Ashely), great nephews Given and Jude, his loving Grams (Lawanda) and so many more who loved him. 

 

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers Buddy and Larry Senior.  His beloved pets Duke, Cappy and Lars.

 

Larry Joe touched the lives of many and was loved dearly by all.  He will remain in our hearts forever and we will cherish the memories we have. 

 

A celebration of his life will be held at 2410 South Broadway in Pittsburg, Kansas on February 15, 2022 at 6:00pm
