Tommy Lee Church

Tommy Lee Church went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 26, 2020.

 

 

 

Tommy was born November 18,1937 at Alluwe, Ok the son of Jesse T Church and Ellen A Hollabaugh.

 

He purchased a grocery store in Howard, Ks in 1973. He and his family worked there until 1991. In 1987 Tom purchased a convenience store in Sedan Ks, Tom and Sues Food Mart. This is where many people enjoyed Tommy’s kindnesses and his dry sense of humor. After his retirement, he and Kathryn traveled and dabbled in antiques. He never met a Western movie he didn’t like.

 

 

 

He leaves behind his devoted wife Kathryn (Sue) of 63 years of marriage. His daughters Sheila Kocher of Wichita, Ks. Marci Shubert and Edward of Winfield, Ks. Grandchildren J.C. Kocher and Allyson of Kea’au HI, Angi Kocher of Wichita, Ks, Jena Cummings and Scott of Wichita, Ks. Great Grandchildren Gavin, Gabriel, George, Tommy, Avigail, Gracia, and Judah. Sisters, Margaret Mayo of Dallas Tx, Shirley Brown of Sherman, Tx. Sister in law, Donna Church of Sherman, Tx. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Kenneth Church, son-in-law Jim Kocher and grandson Joshua.

 

Graveside services are to be held at the Fairview Veterans Memorial Patio, 2400 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas on Friday May 29, 2020 at 2 pm with the Reverend Jerry Seigel officiating. The family will greet friends at 12:30 pm until service time at the Patio.  Tommy will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery the cemeteries are adjacent to each other.
