Roger Anthony Sullivan

Roger Anthony Sullivan, 44, of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

 

He was born on November 4, 1975 at Parsons, Kansas to Robert “Bob” and Joyce (Doherty) Sullivan. When he was 5 years old his family moved to Coffeyville where he grew up and attended school completing his education at Field Kindley High School.

 

On November 30, 1996 he married Charlotte Coy in Coffeyville. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville for a short time moving to South Coffeyville, Oklahoma in 1998 where they raised their children.

 

Roger worked at Acme Foundry, Jensen Mfg. Co. and Jencast for many years. He always enjoyed working on cars and trucks and for the last several years was a mechanic in South Coffeyville. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, riding 4 wheelers, working on cars, building trailers, welding and loved spending time with his family and friends.

 

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte of the home; his children, Brad Noland of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, Bryan Sullivan of Grand Lake, Oklahoma, Brittney Sullivan of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, Wesley Blankenship of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, and Kayleigh Smith of Kansas City, Missouri; his mother, Joyce Sullivan of Coffeyville, his father, Robert “Bob” Sullivan of Parsons, his mother-in-law, Peggy Coy of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, and four grandchildren, Kelly Noland, Brycen Noland, Jaxon Crowley, and Brantley Blankenship.

 

He was preceded in death by one brother, Andy Sullivan; and one granddaughter, Layla Hudnall-Sullivan.

 

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville with Pastor Johnnie Gray officiating.

 

Friends may call on Tuesday, March 10th from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
