Donna Lee Plummer, 79, Independence, Kansas passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at ST. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be 1:00 on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Elk City, Kansas. Memorials may be made to AWOL and may be left with the chapel.

Donna was born September 7, 1941 in Lenexa, Kansas to Marin and Opal (Ledford) Nalley. She attended Lenexa, Kansas school and the family moved to Coffeyville, Kansas where Donna attended and graduated from Coffeyville, Kansas Schools. I.C.C. Cosmetology School where she received her Cosmetology License. Donna worked for The Main Event before opening and operating her own shop with her daughter Toni Classy Clippers until her 2019. Donna married John Carson Purdunn in 1958 in Kansas City, Kansas John passed away in 1966. Donna later married Robert E. Plummer in 1968 in Tulsa, Oklahoma he passed away in 1996-2016

Donna was well loved by all her customers and will be remembered for her commitment and compassion and understanding to her family and customers. Donnas hobbies include digging in the dirt, gardening and fishing.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and twelve siblings, husbands John Carson Purdunn, Robert E. Plummer, and one stepson, Tad Plummer.  Those left to cherish her memory include Ronald E. ( Connie) Purdunn, Independence, Kansas; Christin Ann Mayhood, Corpus Christi, Texas; Toni ( Steve) DeBo, Independence, Kansas;   Michel(Tausha) Purdunn, Independence, Kansas; one sister Betty Montoya, Kansas City, Missouri; three step children, Lew Plummer, Lacresent, Minnesota; Teri Eckley, Riverside, California, eleven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. 1 turtle = 2 fish.
