Danny Glen Miller

Danny Glen Miller, 49, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020.

 

Danny was born on December 7, 1970 in Coffeyville, Kansas to John E. Miller and Constance “Connie” J. (Heady) Layton.  He grew up in Coffeyville where he attended school.

 

On May 11, 1998 he was united in marriage to Carol Knisley in Oolagah, Oklahoma.  From that union his beautiful daughter, Raven was born.

 

Danny worked for Jencast as a supervisor and for a pipeline as a supervisor.  He had received his welding degree from Tulsa Welding School.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.  Danny loved the outdoors.  He attended church and was baptized at Tyro Christian Church in Tyro, Kansas.  He had a big heart for Pitbulls.  Not only did he have his own, but donated his time to helping with other Pitbull’s in need.  Most of all he loved his daughter and family and his friends.

 

Surviving to cherish his memory is his daughter, Raven Skye Miller of Ozark, Arkansas and her mother, Carol Miller; father, John Miller of Edna, Kansas; big brother, Bill Miller and wife, Wendy of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, brother, Johnny Miller; sister, Kandi Sifferath and husband, Steve of Inola, Oklahoma

 

Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Heady Layton and a brother, Chad Miller.

 

Cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home.

 

The family will hold a memorial gathering on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Clymore School in rural Coffeyville.  Some food available.  Bringing a cover dish is optional.  This is a come and go gathering for people to reminisce, share stories and remember Danny’s life.
