Linda Louise Fowler

Linda Louise Fowler, 71, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at her home. 

 

Linda was born on December 11, 1947 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Willy Bob and Blanche (Dunn) Wooten. 

 

Linda grew up in south east Kansas, mostly the Caney and Coffeyville area.  In 1969 she was united in marriage to Albert Fowler.  They had three children, Kim, Edwin and James.  Linda spent her time taking care of the home and her family.  The couple later divorced. 

 

She was a Christian and attended church regularly at Amazing Grace Chapel and Emmanuel Chapel.  She often would visit the nursing homes to sing and share the gospel with others.  Most of all she loved the time she spent surrounded by her family. 

 

She is survived by her children, Kim Stotts, James Fowler and wife, Misty all of Coffeyville, Kansas; grandchildren, Kyle Mansfield and wife, Jessicca of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, Michael Misegades, Trevor Misegades both of Leesburg, Florida; Haylie Wolf and husband, Bob of Mound Valley, Kansas; Malori Arredondo and husband, Rigoberto of Neodesha, Kansas, Cody Lain of Coffeyville, Kansas; eleven great grandchildren; siblings, Pete Cutsinger, Betty King, Mary Neilsen, Kenny Wooten, Carolyn Gray, Wayne Wooten, Loretta Myers along with many nieces, nephews, cousings and friends. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willy Bob and Blanche Wooten; son, Edwin Fowler; siblings, June Wooten, Shirley Wooten, Red Wooten, Mable Williams, Alice Gottschalk, Wanda White, Billy Wooten and Jim Wooten. 

 

Following Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of David W Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas. 

 

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma.  Dinner will follow memorial services.  Pastor Feltner will officiate. 

 

The family suggests contributions to Emmanuel Chapel or the Shiners Hospital for Children; memorials can be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home 306 N Cline Coffeyville, Kansas 67337.
