Vivian Faye Dunn, aged 93, died peacefully in her sleep at Windsor Place in Coffeyville KS on April 3, 2018.



Vivian was the daughter of Walter Henry and Annie (Stephens) Henry of Washburn, MO.  Her parents and her three brothers, Walter Clyde Henry, Oliver O'Dell Henry and Paul Dexter Henry all preceded her in death.  Vivian married William Arnett Dunn on Oct. 7, 1940, in Independence, KS.  He also preceded her in death on February 6, 1991.  They moved to Coffeyville in September, 1941, where they lived their entire married life, except for the time he served in the Civilian Conservation Corps and the U.S. Army, where he earned the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.



Vivian was a homemaker most of her life, except for the short times she worked in retail at Sears, Newberry's, Kress Co. and H. D. Lee Manufacturing.  Vivian enjoyed many activities including: crocheting, tating, knitting, and especially quilting, winning many Blue Ribbons, Grand and Reserve Champion Ribbons for her crocheting and quilting.  When the weather permitted, she loved tending her flowers and watching the birds from her porch swing.  She was a proud "Granny", attending many ball games and other school activities of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved her family, friends, and her special neighbors the Azuara family.



Vivian is survived by her four children, Bobby L. Dunn (Kathleen) of Pittsfield, IL, JoAnn Braschler (Leon) of Coffeyville, William J. Dunn (Karen) of Pittsburg, KS and Gayla D. Wallace (Bob) of Pittsburg, KS.  Survivors also include nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.



Services celebrating the life of Vivian will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, KS with family friend, Ken Henry officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11 am to service time on Saturday.  Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family has suggested memorial contributions be made payable to Coffeyville Friends of Animals or St. Jude in memory of Vivian. Contributions may be left in care of the chapel. To leave a message of condolence for the family visit
