Jahni Summers has wrapped up his final week as a Red Raven, and is officially an Indiana State Sycamore.
Summers signed his letter of intent earlier this week, making his move to Division 1 official following his KJCCC Freshman of the Year campaign.
Red Raven coach Jay Herkelman says Summers had a chip on his shoulder early on.
Summers averaged 18 points per game this season, leading the Ravens in scoring, as well as being the only freshman on an all-conference team. Herkelman says his success directly correlates to his hard work.
Indiana State won 32 games last season, making it all the way to the NIT championship game. Herkelman says it's a great opportunity for Summers to continue his journey.
Summers becomes the latest Raven to transfer to Indiana State from Coffeyville, joining Dawon Cummings, Wilfred Antoine, and Tony Twitty.
