An offseason to forget has potentially more trouble for Rashee Rice.
The Chiefs wide receiver is a suspect in an alleged assault that injured a man at a downtown Dallas nightclub earlier this week. The man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, including swelling on one side of his face, according to law enforcement.
The Chiefs declined comment, as did Rice's attorney. This news comes a month after Rice was involved in a six-car crash that injured seven people, as the result of street racing, and also fled the scene.
Pro Football Focus's Mike Florio says Rice needs a wake up call.
Rice is facing eight felony charges for the accident in late March, and is facing a lengthy NFL suspension.
