The Kansas City Royals have serious momentum, off to their best start to a season since 2021.
Kansas City completed a four game sweep of the Chicago White Sox over the weekend, winning the finale 5-3. Hunter Renfroe and MJ Melendez each hit 2-run home runs to propel the offense.
Melendez says it was a great team effort to rally.
The Royals are 6-4 through ten games this season, their first time over .500 in over two years, and the first time manager Matt Quatraro has ever had a winning record.
He says the morale in the clubhouse couldn't be higher.
Kansas City looks to extend the winning streak tonight, welcoming the Houston Astros to town for a three-game series. Coverage begins at 6 p.m. CT with first pitch at 6:40 on the Mighty 690, KGGF.
