Jayhawks Star Out for NCAA Tournament

The Kansas Jayhawks receive unfortunate news, as one of the team stars will miss the NCAA Tournament with injury.

Guard Kevin McCullar Jr. will not be available moving forward, and is being shut down for the season, due to a deep bone bruise in his knee.

McCullar has not been able to practice for six weeks, and revealed the pain has not gone away, despite missing six of the past 12 games, including last week's Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City.

ESPNs Seth Greenburg says this is a major loss for the Jayhawks.

Center Hunter Dickinson is expected to be available, after dislocating his shoulder in the regular season finale against Houston. Kansas plays Samford in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament tomorrow night.
