There is a new leader of the volleyball program at Coffeyville Community College.

 

CCC announces the hiring of Kandi Midgett as the next head volleyball coach. Midgett will replace former head coach Deardin Kelley, who departed in January to become the head coach at Division II William Jewell.

 

Midgett spent the past two seasons as the assistant volleyball coach at Labette County Community College. She will be taking over a program that has consecutive 20+ win seasons, and a 48-24 combined record the past two years.

 

There is a family connection to the college as well, with Midgett's son Landin on the Red Raven baseball team.
