Red Raven baseball drops a pair of games at Walter Johnson Park to KCK.

 

The Ravens returned home for the first time in 37 games, but couldn't slow down one of the nation's top offenses.

 

Sophomore pitcher Ryan Leiker didn't have his typical premier command, struggling over three innings of work in a 10-0 loss in Game 1.

 

Game 2 was much more competitive, with the Ravens scoring six runs in the second inning, thanks to hits from Adrian Dominguez and Nathon Cruz, but it was not enough to overcome the Blue Devil bats in a 14-6 defeat.

 

Head coach Jake Martin says the team ran into a top tier opponent.

 

Coffeyville baseball will be back at home on Thursday against Neosho County CC.
