The NCAA Tournament field is set, following Selection Sunday.

 

The Connecticut Huskies are the top overall seed, with Houston, Purdue, and North Carolina earning the other No. 1 seeds.

 

The Kansas Jayhawks slot in as the No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region, matching up with Samford in the opening round on Thursday.

 

Eight teams from the Big 12 earn trips to the tournament, with Iowa State a No. 2 seed, No. 3 Baylor, No. 6 BYU, No. 6 Texas Tech, No 7. Texas, and No. 9 TCU.

 

This is the fourth consecutive season a team from the Big 12 has earned a No. 1 seed, and the third straight year there are two conference teams as top two seeds.

 

Kansas State did not qualify for the the NCAA Tournament, but will play in the NIT, with a first round matchup against Iowa tomorrow night at 7 p.m. on the Mighty 690.
