Royals Legend Inducted to Team Hall of Fame

One of the most impressive athletes in the history of sports is being inducted into the Royals Hall of Fame.

Bo Jackson has been elected to the Royals HOF by the organization's Veterans Committee. He will be inducted in an on-field ceremony on June 29th at Kauffman Stadium.

Jackson says he has fond memories of his time with the Royals.

Bo Jackson won the 1985 Heisman trophy at Auburn, and is widely considered one of the greatest athletes of all time, playing professionally in both the NFL and MLB.

He was the 1989 MLB All-Star Game Most Valuable Player, and led the Royals twice in home runs. He finished his baseball career hitting .250 with 109 homers in 511 career games.
