Wildcats Rally vs Texas, Advance to Quarterfinals

 

Kansas State rallied from a double-digit halftime deficit, to keep their season alive with a 78-74 win over Texas.

 

The Wildcats trailed 39-29 at the intermission, but outscored the Longhorns 49-35 in the second half to earn their 19th win of the season.

 

Tylor Perry led the team with 21 points, including a perfect 10 of 10 at the free throw line. Arthur Kaluma added 14, and freshman Dae Dae Ames had 10.

 

KSU advances to the Big 12 Quarterfinals, and keeps their hopes of the NCAA Tournament alive. They will play the Iowa State Cyclones tonight, a team they beat five days ago.
