Short-Handed Jayhawks Fall to Cincinnati

Playing without a pair of starters proved to be crucial for the Jayhawks, losing 72-52 to Cincinnati in the Big 12 Tournament.

The Jayhawks were out of sync for a majority of the game, shooting 34% from the field, only making three 3-point shots, and losing the rebound battle.

K.J. Adams led KU with 22 points, but no other player was able to contribute more than eight. Dan Skillings led the Bearcats, with a game-high 25 points.

The Jayhawks will enter the NCAA Tournament with a 22-10 record, and are currently projected as a No. 4 seed.
