The Red Ravens took care of business on the road, sweeping the Independence Pirates to end the regular season.

 

The Lady Ravens avenge an earlier loss to ICC, winning the rematch 69-51. Kyleigh Ortiz led the team with 18, while Ivy Fox had 14. Tetona Woods-Blackowl dished out eight assists.

 

Head coach Tony Turner says the team is bought in.

 

The men delivered a victory as well, winning the nightcap 95-77. Jahni Summers had 23 points, while Cris Carroll had 21, and Charles Caporaso had a career high 18.

 

Assistant coach Braeden Proctor says Caporaso has improved as a player.

 

Point guard Brian Griffith finished with 11 second-half points, inlcuding three important 3-pointers. Proctor says he's emerging as a clutch player.

 

The postseason begins Saturday with both teams at home. The Lady Ravens host Colby at 2 p.m. and the men host Pratt immediately following.
