Chiefs Missing Two Starters for Super Bowl

The Kansas City Chiefs begin preparing for the Super Bowl, but will be without two of their defensive linemen.

Defensive end Charles Omenihu suffered a torn ACL in his knee during the AFC Championship game, and will be unavailable for the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers.

Omenihu had seven sacks this season, a career high, in his first year with Kansas City.

ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark says this is a big loss for KC.

The Chiefs have had one of the best defensive fronts in the NFL this season, ranking second in the league with 57 total sacks. Analyst Marcus Spears says this may force the team to be more aggressive.

Defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi is also out for the Super Bowl with an elbow injury.
