Red Raven football coach Nick Dobler continues to fill out his staff, adding an impressive name to the defense.

 

CCC is naming Jarrod Sanders Jr as the new defensive backs coach for the program. Sanders spend Spring of the 2022 season in Coffeyville as the cornerbacks coach.

 

Sanders played defensive back at Hutchinson CC, playing a key role in the first Jayhawk championship in Blue Dragon football history in 2014. He finished his playing career at Texas A&M-Kingsville, where he was second-team Lone Star Conference.

 

Like his playing career, Sanders began coaching at Hutchinson, helping the Blue Dragons to the 2020-21 NJCAA national championship following an undefeated season, the first national title in program history.

 

He spent two seasons in Hutchinson as a coach, before spending last season as an assistant DB coach at Division 2 West Florida.
