Coffeyville Community College football continues to grow its new coaching staff, promoting a current staff member to defensive coordinator.

 

Del Howard will serve as the new DC for the Red Ravens, following five seasons as the defensive backs coach.

 

Howard was a four year letter winner at the University of Missouri, where he played safety for the Tigers. He has been coaching since the 2010 season.

 

Howard has served as a defensive coordinator in two different roles, with OD Prep in Oklahoma City in 2014, and with Lyon College in 2016.

 

The Red Raven secondary have seen continued success under Coach Howard, sending players such as Bishop Fitzgerald, Amir Renwick, Adrian Patterson, Kameron Pearson, and others to the Divison 1 level.
