The Lady Nado have their best start to the season in almost ten years after a 51-31 win over Pittsburg. The Coffeyville girls are 4-1 and now 1-0 in league play after the win.

 

Pittsburg kept things close in the first quarter trailing 16-12, but Coffeyville's defense would hold them to just two points in the second. The Lady Nado would hold a 25-14 lead at the half with 15 of those points coming from Taiylor Caron.

 

The Lady Dragons would come out firing in the second half making their first five shots, but the Lady Nado were able to extend their lead by one. The fourth quarter didn't go quite as well shooting for Pittsburg as they hit just two shots and missed their last seven. Coffeyville got their lead up to 20 thanks to two hustle plays by Kaylin Caron and back-to-back threes from Olivia Ransom.

 

Taiylor Caron would lead all scorers with 17, Kaylin Caron would add nine and Ransom finished with 11. The Lady Nado take on Independence on the road on Tuesday for their final game before the winter break.
