After signing a veteran reliever over the weekend, the Kansas City Royals remain involved in trying to add talent to a young pitching staff.

 

Kansas City remains interested in both free agent pitchers Marcus Stroman and Lucas Giolito. Stroman and Giolito are both top 10 free agents available this offseason, according to CBS Sports.

 

The Royals have young talent in the starting rotation, with Cole Ragans and Brady Singer leading the group. However, depth is a major question mark as the team looks to open a new window of competing.

 

Stroman and Giolito will both draw interest from playoff contenders, so it's likely the Royals would have to outbid teams for their services.
