A star player from last season's Kansas State tournament team has been dismissed from the program.
Forward Nae'Qwan Tomlin will no longer be a member of the basketball team, according to athletic director Gene Taylor. Tomlin was arrested last month on disorderly conduct charges, following a bar fight in Manhattan.
Tomlin started 36 games for the Wildcats last season, averaging 10.4 points per game, and elevating his game in the NCAA Tournament.
The Wildcats are 7-2 on the season, and have won four consecutive games. Transfer Will McNair and David N'Guessan will be tasked with playing heavy minutes at forward for Jerome Tang moving forward.
