Wildcats Put on Scoring Clinic in Win vs Emporia State

 

Kansas State wrapped up the preseason slate with an offensive masterpiece in a big win over Emporia State.

 

KSU dropped 51 points in each half, shooting 52% from the field on the night and converting on nine three-point shots. The Wildcats were also locked in from the free throw line, converting on 17 of 19 shots at the stripe.

 

Cam Carter led the team with 20 points, while Jerrell Colbert, Dai Dai Ames, and Arthur Kaluma also ended the night in double figures. Tylor Perry struggled with early foul trouble, but bounced back to finish with eight points and a team high five assists.

 

The Wildcats led for 39 of 40 minutes during the game, and received excellent bench scoring, with the second team putting in 53 points.

 

KSU opens the season against the USC Trojans in Las Vegas on Monday. Coverage begins at 8 p.m. with tip at 9 on the Mighty 690, KGGF.
