The Kansas Jayhawks are ready for the season to officially tip off, rolling over Fort Hays State in their final exhibition performance.
Hunter Dickinson led the Jayhawks with 17 points and 11 rebounds, with a majority of that production coming in the first half. Kevin McCullar Jr continued his strong preseason, scoring 21 points and leading the team in scoring.
The KU defense was also sharp in the final tune-up, forcing 13 turnovers, as well as six blocked shots. The Jahawks scored 34 points in the paint on the night, and shot 45% as a team.
Kansas will open the regular season on Monday night against North Carolina Central. Coverage begins at 5:30 p.m. with tip off at 7 on Greatest Hits 104.1 FM.
