The Caney Valley Bullpups begin their quest for a state championship tonight as the Council Grove Braves come to town, in a rematch from a second round playoff game last season.

 Head Coach Criss Davis says the Braves will be out for revenge after last year's playoffs loss, and his team needs to fight for their season to continue.

 Both teams enter tonight's match-up with a 5-3 record. Caney averages just over 33 points per game, while Council Grove averages 29.5 points per game. Both teams are ranked in the top 20 in scoring offense; Caney is ranked #12, Council Grove is ranked #16.
