Red Raven men's basketball is less than two weeks away.
Coach Jay Herkelman enters his 29th season as head coach. There are only two returners on this year's roster, Izek Jackson and Boubacar Keita.
Jackson says the transition from role player to leader has been pretty easy.
Current Kansas State point guard and former Red Raven Tylor Perry spoke to the team earlier this summer. Keita says he hopes the team can take something away from that experience.
There are many questions to answer about a team with so much unknown. Jackson says, however, he believes in this team's talent.
CCC opens the season against Fort Scott on November 1st on U.S. 98 and the Red Raven Sports Network.
